My little min pin mix LOVES these. We first got them in to the dog store that I work at and I admit, I was a bit skeptical. My coworkers and I split the small dog pack three ways. Being a recent rescue, I hadn't yet found a chew that he could stay interested in more than a few minutes and I needed to find something to occupy him when I left to help him work on his separation anxiety. I gave it to him to try immediately and he proudly carried it around the store- something he never does with anything else. I immediately bought another pack all for myself. He now has four of them around the house, and chews on them non stop the entire time we're watching tv or before he goes to bed. Despite all of the time he's spent working on them, none of the four that he has around the house appear to have any more than a minor bit of wear around the edges. Best of all, they don't smell! We gave our dog one for the first time yesterday. She is a rescued Irish Setter who we've had for about 7 years. We have to be very careful what we give her because she has a lot of allergies. I have to say the dog went berserk over the chew. We couldn't get it away from her. She kept rehiding her chew from us. Now, we find ourselves ordering more. I tried to give this to one of my foster Pit Bulls last night and he was absolutely TERRIFIED of it. He ran away with his tail tucked and wouldn't come within a few feet of me. I lay it on his dog bed to see if he'd come around, and even a few hours after i'd put it away he still wouldn't step foot on the bed.
